“..this will be a great addition to the bedside reading list this Christmas.”

Lynden Jones

Here is a little bedtime book to give you a good run in to Christmas. This delightful story solves the dilemma of the whole snail-mail network being what it is these days and the social distancing of Santa.. how is he going to find out what everyone wants for Christmas? Turns out he has had a network in place all along.

Claire Clément’s story The Toys Christmas follows little Naoh’s toy Fanfan the elephant as he embarks on his annual Christmas eve journey to a secret meeting. Along the way he joins other toys and they discuss the adventures they have had this year, from first day at school, to getting left in the rain.

Once they arrive at their destination we find Santa ready and waiting for their reports on what their child wants for Christmas.

Filled with gorgeous illustrations by Genevieve Godbout this delightful little book is a great bedtime story read… although it might create some tricky situations when the wish list does not matchup with Santa’s budget. That will be where your creativity kicks in – and you can always blame the toys.

The recommended age for this book is 3 to 7, we found our three year old lost concentration a little bit, but a week or so later he pulled the book out of the bookshelf for his bedtime read. As soon as i started he began to fill me in on some details – he remembered it. It is now one of the high rotation bedtime stories. It will be a great addition to the bedside reading list this Christmas.
