This state of the art theatrical venue was opened in 2004. As well as STC’s main seasons, Roslyn Packer Theatre is home to some of Sydney’s other significant performing arts companies such as Sydney Dance Company.
The Sydney Theatre was renamed the Roslyn Packer Theatre in honour of Ros Packer’s philanthropic contribution to the arts, especially the Sydney Theatre Company.
