Adelaide
Thursday the 12th of October some of the biggest names in South Australian comedy got together for an intimate comedy night fundraising for the U G L Y bartender of the year.
Hosted by Marc the Aussie Bogan, the crowd got to be up close with personal with a variety of Adelaide’s comedic talent.
Court Furnel & Big Al started the night off with both comedians well regarded in the SA circuit and you could see why, they had the crowd in stitches from start to finish.
Next up was T Bear, given his twisted outlook on life and the trials and tribulations of what it means to be part of Bears of Anarchy.
Rich Neirbourhood was next up, followed by Jay Michael but men are fantastic story tellers and left the crowd in tears.
Last up was Michael Bowley, a legend of 13 years in the comedy history and you can see why, with the crowd eating up everything he had to say.
Numbers wise, it wasn’t a big night – but there is something to be said for intimate crowds as stand up comedy Venus as interaction is high and everyone feels part of the show.
Special congratulations to Katie for arranging this fundraiser, it’s for a great cause that everyone needs to get behind.
